Detail
Introducing the BLACKBIRD "3 Buttons Shirt Jacket" (Black).

A new style for 26AW, this piece strips away details that strongly evoke any specific country or era, resulting in a design with an ambiguity that allows it to be perceived as both a shirt and a jacket.

While it has a rugged aesthetic that allows it to be thrown on casually like a coverall, details such as pocket placement and longer sleeves have been finely tuned to create a natural silhouette when worn.
The sizing is set slightly larger, balanced so that it works whether worn true-to-size or sized up for a more relaxed, casual look.
The sleeves are also designed to be long, but are easy to roll up, which is how we recommend wearing it.

For the Black version, we have used a twill linen-cotton fabric from the Italian mill, Lyria.
While it has a substantial feel, the touch is dry and slightly rustic.
At the same time, the shading and texture of the fabric convey the elegance typical of Lyria.
It is a fabric that will age beautifully; we envision it developing an even better look once it has been worn repeatedly, broken in, and softened.

A shirt jacket that you can reach for daily across many seasons.
A piece we hope you will enjoy not just in its brand-new state, but for the way it ages over time.
