REDUCTION FACTORY. is a ceramics brand from Tohoku that was launched in Hasami-cho, Nagasaki Prefecture in 2016 by ceramic designer Kuntaro Abe and moved to Iwate Prefecture in 2024. It is a self-made brand that was started with the idea that by directly experiencing material selection, techniques, mixing, firing, etc., it would be possible to further deepen his knowledge as a ceramics designer. Based on the idea of "100 things that enrich the lives of 100 people," the brand is characterized by making its products as cheap and easy to purchase as possible, and by decorating them in a way that allows buyers to choose from individual products that are produced repeatedly.
