Up until now, with the cooperation of manufacturers, we have been slowly creating items based on second-hand clothing.
We are pleased that all of our items have been well received by our customers.

Well, this was something I had in mind from the very beginning, but as a new venture, I decided to create "Lakewood Clothing".
It becomes a brand.

This project involves updating and transforming items taken from the owner's collection or items he has found while shopping into new items.
We will be creating something new and different on an irregular basis.

So I decided to create something that I wanted to keep in my mind.
The first release is a tote bag.
From now on, I will continue to tinker with items I find in my collections and from my purchasing sources that are nice but lack something, and develop them into something new.
We don't want the quality to be just something original to our store, so like our previous special orders with brands, we will be releasing one item that we put our all into on an irregular basis.

It's just a longer version of that tote.
That won't happen.

If I come across tote bags like these when I go shopping, I'll buy them, and there have been some cases where I've purchased some that I think are quite unique, but once they're sold, that's it.
I also felt a bit lonely.
Since it's an antique, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

However, I feel it would be annoying to keep thinking about how great that time was in the past.

With that in mind, I decided to try making something.
There is no other model like this.

That's because we focused on rare items.
I have a similar size one in my collection.
Well, it's unclear, but it's thought to be an irregular item that isn't for sale.

At the time, I was surprised to learn that such a model existed, but I bought it anyway.

In recent years, outerwear has become more and more popular with wider armholes.
I thought it would be good for a time like that.

When I used it, I found that it went very well with voluminous coats and I loved using it.
It's deep enough to fit long items, and because it's not wide it won't get in the way of other people on the train.
One day, I even carried it over my shoulder while riding my bike and it worked fine.
But I was a bit worried about the hardness.

The material used is No. 4 canvas from Okayama.
The production is also done in a factory in Japan.
So it's ALL MADE IN JAPAN.

First of all, we thought it would be stable when you held it in your pocket or on your shoulder, so we added a short handle that can be held by hand on the side.
This is the beginning of this tote.

When the sample was finished, I muttered to myself, "Oh, it's soft," and then I had a thought.
"Oh, I wonder what would happen if I folded this."
It felt closer to a tall, medium-sized shoe.
Then it's really easy to hold.

So, I thought it would be nice if I could use it in the same way as when I held it in my hand, so I added a short handle to the other side.
And then sample number 2 was raised.

Perfect...
And after some updating, this tote bag was completed.
I think we've created something interesting.

The color range includes four of my favorite colors from the tote bags I have purchased.

It looks like records and such could easily fit in there.

We are currently producing the product in our factory, but perhaps because it was featured in an article by HOUYHNHNM , we have been receiving more inquiries, so we have decided to offer it for pre-order.
We have product samples available in store, so please feel free to come and see them in person.
We also have original versions, so we will explain them along with the stories.

It may be an exaggeration, but it's a masterpiece.
I've been using it since the first sample was made and I find it very useful.

I hope that many people will get their hands on this tote bag.
Delivery is scheduled for the end of February or March, but there is a possibility that there may be delays due to unavoidable production reasons.

We will continue to try new things, so please look forward to it.
By the way, all the custom items we have made so far are masterpieces, so please do try them out!!
