Event "Lakewood ×northwood Vintage & Forkart"

Event "Lakewood ×northwood Vintage & Forkart"

Hello, it's been a while.
I haven't used the blog feature at all.

However, from now on, there will be many events we have prepared and we have started carrying many new brands, so I will be writing more in depth about them.
Maybe I'll start writing a blog as a way to unwind.
First of all, the font has been updated.
It really inspires me.

This time, I'll be sharing event information. However, it's an in-shop event, so I won't be going anywhere.
It will be held at our store in Mitsuke.

I was on a business trip to Kyoto and Osaka some time ago, and I spoke about it there.
This is a long-awaited collaboration with a store in Kyoto.
We met at "TOKYO MODERISM", which was held at "MUJI HOTEL".
That event really stirs up materialistic desires.

In working with this store, the first thing we noticed was that the company names, northwood and Lakewood, have a nice ring to them.
It's a great store that carries a lot of items from the Canada/Alaska zone, a place I've wanted to visit but haven't had the chance to visit yet.
They have a large collection of various folk art, crafts, and used clothing, including soapstone that evokes an Alaskan atmosphere and Canadian totem poles.

We both love traveling and have been to all kinds of areas, so we have a lot in common when it comes to the items we want to recommend.
Our store also offers a land series of items, but the Alaska and Canada items this time are from a different culture, and I also like the artistic aspect of them.

Lakewood × northwood
Vintage & Forkart
Noord , which is operated in Kyoto, and northwood, which operates its sister store Nii, will be opening an in-shop for a limited time at Lakewood Clothing in Mishuku, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo.
The shop offers vintage items and miscellaneous goods that evoke the atmosphere of Canada and Alaska, as suggested by the travel-loving owner, Takanobu.
This event is a chance for you to enjoy Lakewood Clothing's mix of independent designers, contemporary items, vintage clothing that can only be found during this period, and folk art.
On the first day, we will operate with extended business hours.

*This is a showroom, not a store, and is not normally open to the public.
Noord
Founded in Kiyamachi, Kyoto in 2015, "Nord" offers high-quality second-hand clothing sourced mainly from North America, including Canada and the United States, as well as art pieces from both Japanese and international artists and miscellaneous goods from overseas artists.
The store features vintage clothing with blue as its key color, and is edited with a unique worldview that embodies the sensibility of Takanobu, the owner of "northwood," who is also a vintage dealer and sells both domestic and international brands.
