This is a large snail sculpture made from grasses that was created in Jaen, Spain in the 1970s and 1980s.
Esparto crafts are still around today, and you can see cows and donkeys, but snails are quite rare. It is very valuable.
This is a simple yet intricately carved craftwork that exudes a powerful atmosphere.
It is a very elaborate piece made by braiding the shell and snail together.
Its large size creates a powerful presence that is unlike any other.

You can just place it on the floor, but we have attached a string so that it can be easily hung on the wall.
