Founded in 2012 in Joshua Tree, California by Cody Montgomery and Sarah Harris.
Cody has a background in textiles and Sarah is in charge of design.
All products are made in the USA, and much of the production process takes place in the couple's hometown of Joshua Tree with the help of friends and neighbors.
All of their products are made from natural fibers, and most of their fabrics, including linen, hemp, and cotton, are sourced from deadstock textile dealers. They also remake used denim, recycling fabrics that would otherwise be thrown away and finding new value. When it comes to dyes, they use many natural dyes such as indigo and rust, avoiding the environmentally unfriendly chemical dyes that are often used in the industry.
In addition, all items are finished with a special process using a shotgun, proposing a new way to use guns that is not for killing people.
In Joshua Tree's studio, he comes up with different designs and patterns, dyes the garments, and shoots them with a shotgun.
