"Yearbook"

The pieces were created by sampling vintage reunion jackets, beer jackets, and senior cords, which are decorated with vibrant signatures and academic motifs in these pale tones.
These items are extremely rare on the vintage market and Samuel Zelig has recreated these styles through his own lens.

In creating this collection, we researched numerous yearbooks from the 1930s to 1950s, considering what kind of designs could be realistically incorporated into the artwork.
It was filled with playful doodles, inside jokes, and photo collages.
The design includes an original mascot and crest, as well as details inspired by the designer's own experiences in high school.

Samuel Zelig is a collaboration between Los Angeles-based Jonathan Levite and Melissa Marsella. Jonathan and Melissa are both vintage aficionados, and they express their idea of ​​a "Dream Vintage" using modern techniques.

All designs, including patches and embroidery, are originals by the designers. Each artwork has a different style, as if the piece has been passed down through generations and customized by its owner.
