Samuel Zelig is a collaboration between Los Angeles-based Jonathan Levite and former Ralph Lauren employee Melissa Marsella. Jonathan and Melissa, who are both vintage aficionados, express their idea of ​​a "Dream Vintage" using modern techniques.

All designs, including patches and embroidery, are originals by the designers. Each artwork has a different style, as if the piece has been passed down through generations and customized by its owner.

Inspired by sweatshirts from the 1930s to 1950s, the Tiburon Crewneck is made from 15oz loopback cotton French terry.
This high-quality fabric is sourced from a Japanese spinning mill with roots dating back to the mid-19th century, and the weight of the fabric is neither too heavy nor too light, making it ideal for year-round wear.
In a nod to authentic vintage style, the ribbing on the cuffs and hem is cut 3 inches high.
All seams are finished with overlock and double-needle coverstitching for durability and long-lasting comfort.

Finally, a vintage dyeing process is used to create a tinted finish that recreates the tanned look and yellowing of light-colored clothing that has been worn for years.
