"New Rituals"
The inspiration for this series comes from films about cults and secret societies.
"Eyes Wide Shut," "The Wicker Man," "Midsommar," "Suspiria." Some of the cults/groups depicted in these films follow pagan practices.
Items like cards, dried flowers and candles are often used as talismans as well as for their symbolic meaning, and we wanted to portray what these deities and rituals look like through the lens of Samuel Zelig.
