These are Gurank's cotton hemp shorts.
This piece reproduces the tough fabric feel of thick count yarn used in 1960s workwear.
The original 12 oz Oxford fabric combines thick cotton yarn and hemp.
The hemp is soaked in wax before weaving to allow slubs to form easily.
It's a material with a very good texture, made with product sulfur dyeing and bio-washing.

Additionally, custom iron tack buttons are used. Since they are unpainted iron, rust will gradually form from scratches with use, and as the fabric fades, they will develop a more rugged and unique appearance.
