These are Gurank's cotton hemp shorts.
This piece reproduces the tough fabric feel of thick count yarn used in 1960s workwear.
The original 12 oz Oxford fabric combines thick cotton yarn and hemp.
Wax was soaked into the hemp and woven to allow for slubs to form easily.
The material has a very nice texture, with product sulfur dyeing and bio-wash treatment.

In addition, custom iron tack buttons are used. Because they are made of unpainted iron, rust will gradually appear from scratches with use, and along with the fading of the fabric, they will develop a more rugged and unique appearance.
