BLACKBIRD “motorcycle half coat”(Brown)
A motorcycle half coat, which has been continuously offered since collection 007, reconfigured with new materials and specifications.
First, I was very attracted to this fabric.
The fabric uses a heavy napping wool specially ordered from Italy's Lyria. The rich texture created by the intertwined fibers produces a deep expression reminiscent of traditional Casentino.
In conjunction with the change in material, the pattern has been reviewed and adjusted to a silhouette that can be worn more casually, making it a coat that can be thrown on loosely.
The longer length and sleeve length, combined with the heaviness of the fabric, enhance its unique presence. The lining has also been changed to specifications suited for this model.
For the buttons, newly developed brass cast buttons were adopted for this item. It has the texture unique to solid brass, and you can enjoy the change in expression over the years of wearing it.
Based on the basics of the motorcycle coat, this is a piece that adds BLACKBIRD's interpretation to the balance of the silhouette and details.
