Samuel Zelig "high dive crewneck"
Detail :
Inspired by sweatshirts from the 1930s-50s, the High Dive Crewneck is made from 15oz loopback cotton French terry and 1x1 rib. This high-quality fabric is produced in a Japanese factory with a history dating back to the mid-19th century, and is moderately heavy and comfortable to wear all year round. It also features two-tone color blocking reminiscent of the style of the time.
In homage to the authentic vintage look, the cuffs and hem are 3-inch ribbed. All seams are overlocked with merrow edges and double-needle coverstitched for durability and long-lasting wear. Every detail is crafted with care.
The design is inspired by the culture of depicting stories and memories on crew necks issued to naval officers in the 1930s. In order to reproduce the aging of vintage sweatshirts, a unique dyeing process has been applied to create a rich texture.
