60s Abercrombie & Fitch Wool Blanket Stripe Zip Jacket – Camel
Detail :
A vintage wool jacket by Abercrombie & Fitch Co. from around the 1960s.
Unlike its current image as a casual wear brand, Abercrombie & Fitch was formerly known as a long-established American specialty store dealing in high-quality outdoor gear and sportswear.
This piece features an impressive classic color scheme, combining a camel base with deep green and reddish-brown stripes.
Made from a thick, brushed wool-like fabric reminiscent of a blanket, it offers an appealing warm texture and a rich appearance.
The front features a zipper, with small flap pockets on the chest and large patch pockets at the waist.
With a practical design featuring a total of four pockets, as well as a large collar and a relaxed silhouette, it is packed with the details typical of American outdoor wear from that era.
The bold striped pattern, composed of muted tones, is particularly captivating.
While it has a strong presence, it is not overly flashy, making it a natural fit not only with vintage denim or chinos but also with wool slacks.
A piece that evokes the good old days of American outdoor culture, quite different from the modern Abercrombie & Fitch.
