Glasgow-based MIDDLE DISTANCE is a brand that blends tradition, craftsmanship, and a distinctively innovative approach. The brand draws inspiration from handcrafted hiking gear of the late 20th century and the ambitious self-sufficiency movement championed by the WHOLE EARTH CATALOGUE .

First up, we have received the FOG JACKET and FOG PANTS, items that symbolize MIDDLE DISTANCE .
I think there are very few stores in Japan that carry this product.

This is a masterpiece that combines high-performance design with craftsmanship, offering complete waterproofing and breathability.
The material used is a next-generation 3L laminate fabric developed in collaboration with the Swiss textile research institute DIMPORA AG .

This material contains absolutely no harmful chemicals such as PFCs (polyfluorinated compounds), minimizing its environmental impact while delivering top performance.
Durability is incorporated into every thread, and the jacket fabric is lined with nylon tricot mesh for added resilience.
Dimpora manufactures its membranes in a laboratory in Switzerland.

A specially developed 3-layer laminated fabric combining a chemical-free, waterproof and breathable DIMPORA membrane with an Irish linen outer fabric.
This material is interesting and has become the deciding factor in how we're developing it.
Assembled in Scotland, it meets certification standards for waterproofing and breathability, and despite being made of linen, it offers performance comparable to Gore-Tex.

The silhouette is a boxy fit with a relaxed fit in the body and a neat length.
The pants have a slightly wide, straight silhouette and a versatile design.
The removable bondage straps are a nice design feature.



I had been searching for a so-called tech brand for a long time, but I hadn't found anything that really appealed to me until I stumbled upon this one.
This is a limited-quantity offer for the first time only.
For now, I think I'll continue wearing these pants for a while.
